What My Mother Told Me about Sweatshirt Brands

I remember way back in junior high, when I got my first job, my mother told me something very important and that I would like to share it to you. My mother once told me about sweatshirt brands. She knew that I was into sweatshirts that much and that I brought have of my entire sweatshirt collection to my dormitory because I was the type of person who can’t live without it. Im not really sure why, but I just can’t.

She told me, before I left the house where we had a mother-daughter talk, to be choosy and picky when it comes to brand names. She said that there are brand names that are just for show but never really step up to the challenge of providing the best quality sweatshirt. the result, some sweatshirts are not that durable enough that after a week, the seems are starting to break up and they leave your arms flinging around with that extra thread a couple of meters away from you and that is humiliating and that is one of the main reasons why she trusts only branded sweatshirt names rather than just settle for those non-branded ones that go for sale on stores for $4 each.

She added that, buying a branded sweatshirt would give me more than what I have bargained for, even if it’s quite more expensive than that of non-branded ones. My mom is really concerned in terms of sweatshirt colors and that she wants those sweatshirts that done easily fade off after a couple of washes because you wont are not getting any value for your money if that is the case.

It’s not that I am product conscious myself. It’s just that, my mother knows better than me. I trust her words and opinions when it comes to things like this. She has been the one taking care of my sweatshirts ever since I started collecting them so, being concerned of the things that I value so much, I follow whatever my mother tells me to do because she has more experience in taking care of things like this and that im only starting out being independent so there is nothing wrong in trusting the words of your mother. You can always experiment but never be too lenient about it or you’ll regret it for the rest of your life. Its not going to be forever that your mother can assist you in whatever dilemmas you are going to have so better learn how to stand up for yourself and be strong and independent and being able to choose which is of good quality or not is a head start.
